ABOUT

Hi! I’m Nick Grant. I am a master’s student in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

I am an interdisciplinary artist who experiments with emerging media technology. I graduated from The George Washington University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science and minors in English and journalism. While in Washington, DC, I trained as a researcher, reporter, videographer, and a poet. During my freshman year, my university funded my trip to study Shakespeare throughout England. Two years later, I returned to analyze conflict resolution in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. I strive to imbue meaning in the ordinary, often with underlying sociopolitical themes. How can technology serve as a tool for change? Can we bridge the gap between fantasy and reality?
