In the summer of 2020, I oversaw the creative output of the Ideamix. The startup company finds stories from successful entrepreneurs.

As part of my role, I led the editorial team. I mentored seven writers on a range of topics, such as the overall structure of an editorial, writing a strong hook, how to find reputable research resources, journalism ethics, incorporating quotes, grammar, and the difference between strong and weak words.

While providing in-depth feedback for my students’ drafts, I also wrote a weekly editorial. I focused on methods to stay productive during the pandemic, the effects of the coronavirus on businesses, and emerging trends in technology.
